Yoon Ji Sung, who recently took eighth place on “Produce 101 Season 2” and will debut as part of project boy group Wanna One, has come under attack from anti-fans.
On a DC Inside community for “Produce 101 Season 2,” someone uploaded a post stating that they had reported Yoon Ji Sung to the Military Manpower Administration. Recently anti-fans had begun spreading false rumors that Yoon Ji Sung, who was born in 1991 and is one of the older members of Wanna One, had illegally deferred his enlistment date for mandatory military service.
The poster included the content of their phone call to the MMA as well as a screencap of the message they had left on the MMA’s homepage. The post also included a photo of the MMA’s alleged response, where the MMA said that according to the rules, they would accept deferment until September 30, 2017, and that they could not give out details of someone’s military enlistment deferment as it was personal information.
In response, many fans of Yoon Ji Sung hit back against anti-fans for spreading false rumors and reporting him falsely to the MMA without any evidence of illegal activity.
