Recently, YG Entertainment announced that their rapper trainee, ONE, will debut with two title tracks. ONE is known for being a contestant on the fourth and fifth season of Mnet’s “Show Me The Money,” and has been getting ready to debut for the past two years.
His two title tracks will be titled, “It’s Just Okay” and “HEYAHE,” and are both written by the young rapper himself. The former was announced on June 25 along with a debut film and an array of teaser images for his upcoming debut. The latter was announced on July 1, and hints that ONE will be going for a more mature and sexy image.
A source from YG Entertainment commented on ONE’s upcoming debut and said, “If the first track, ‘It’s Just Okay’ shows a pure and innocent side to ONE, ‘HEYAHE’ will show a darker and more mature side. It will be about a mysterious romance that happens at night. Essentially, the two title tracks are opposite of each other, so fans will be able to see all sides of ONE.”
ONE will release both his debut tracks and their respective music videos on July 11 at 6 p.m. KST.
